Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) has officially released its 2024 year-end report for the U.S. market, reporting sales of 320,743 vehicles for the Q4 period and 1,303,570 vehicles for the entire 2024 calendar year. Overall, the Q4 total U.S. sales declined 7%, and full-year results decreased 15% year over year, while the company’s Q4 retail sales in the full calendar year increased 1% year over year.

When I was doing year end projections I understated my numbers by a bit. I felt my results could only go up since I had a pretty good idea of where things were going. Things likely would be better than projected.
In all honesty these are not bad results considering lost products and late new products. My thinking may have relevance here, things can only get better.

I don't know. They are pretty dismal, considering the continual downwards spiral over the past four years.

The funny thing is, everyone is worried about Chrysler. But the Chrysler minivan is giving the entire Dodge brand a run for its money.

Call me a wide eyed optimist but I see a lineup ripe for new products, replacement of product in hibernation and pent up demand waiting for them in the wings. Betting heavy on Jeep Cherokee and Renegade replacements, everything from Chrysler and the return of the Dodge Challenger and some new Dodge affordable models. Of course a V-8 will make things better too.
More than optimistic or just a dreamer ?
