Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is gearing up for a significant turnaround in 2025 after facing a challenging 2024. The company’s renewed focus on regional marketing and exciting new product offerings aims to recapture market share and rebuild trust with both dealers and customers.

Most epic comeback in automotive history. 😂😂. Somebody wake me up when that’s well under way.

Not with this lineup of powertrains. AWD + I6 on the Charger/Challenger doesn't do it for me. 2026 Grand Cherokee going from a 3.6L V6 to some boosted GME-T4 variant? No thanks.

Series hybrid or a PHEV V8 is the only thing I'm interested in. Unfortunately, neither are in the cards until closer to the end of the decade.

This stunning comeback dream will come to a screeching halt if the idiotic tariffs are put in place. I have no doubt they will happen soon given the giant mess that was created today.

Stellantis made two mistakes: they deleted the powertrains that were the cash cows, and they let product remain stale. JL Wrangler needed a big update, not just a new grille. DT Ram is now 7 years old with no meaningful changes. Ram HD trucks are so old that I still had a full head of hair when they debuted. Challenger, the #1 seller in the class, was a 2008 debut with only one interior/exterior update in around 2015.

You can't sell vehicles when everything you have is old. Double whammy when you pull out the legendary powertrains and replace with Euro trash.

As far as the tariffs go, yes God forbid that our President put our own country first instead of selling our people out and sending all our money to other nations. How awful!

Pretty much agree that product has been neglected. Much of the updates were delayed, I suspect, due to the adoption of the three STLA modular platforms and the electrification nightmare. Case in point, no Jeep Cherokee replacement for so long, are you kidding me !
Trying to keep positive, there have been some critical updates now reaching market, but as stated elsewhere, if there is not an immediate reversal in power train strategy, things will not get better soon.
I agree, if the Grand Cherokee and new Cherokee does not offer a Pentastar V-6 or the Wagoneer a V-8 there will not be many people being drawn to these products. On the other hand, I think the Six Pack Chargers will be a very compelling product. I’d consider one. I bet most Mopar loyalist, like myself, would agree with your comments.

Euro trash as a Mopar owner, Maserati and Alfa Romeo.
You need to go on a vacation, nothing wrong with the powertrains.
They could save Chrysler with Peugeot they are winning all kinds of ratings
All Buicks are from China and Korea except one!
People will certainly buy a Europe cars over Asia if it's offered.
You kill Europe you kill me United States.
Asia is the downfall They have stole every industry from tractors, forklifts, clothes, golf carts ECT ECT

I don't see how putting $1000's in tariffs on new vehicles is putting us 1st. Plants can't be moved overnight. It takes years. So in the meantime we should be ok with very high prices caused by tariffs? Tariffs just increase our cost to purchase something. Car prices are high enough, now add 1000's more and suddenly a lot more people are priced out of the new car market and heading to used cars.

Huh major comeback, well they should never had let it get to this point in the first place.

What needs to happen is that Ram and Jeep need to slash $20,000 American from the price of all their vehicles, and then offer big incentives.

Put out a 5 year or ten year warranty to get people talking.

And they need to show some real pictures of what’s in the works, or what was in the works and shelved because of stupid delays in bringing new product out.

They need to make that SST Six very reliable until they bring out another V8 for the pickups and Charger.

Let’s face it that Electric Charger is a disaster no other way to put it and the price, give me a break.

They need a K car or Magic wagon type situation to turn things around.

Comeback with what? All their launches are products people didn't want. Stellantis has made it very clear they don't care about their customers nor their employees. They care about lining their pockets with cheap and outdated products on brands and models with popularity. No thanks! Vehicles cost way too much to get junk. Besides, I'm not getting a Chrysler, Dodge, or Jeep; I am getting a Stalantis vehicle made by a consolidation of the worst car companies in Europe. I wanted a New JL, Challenger, and Ram HD; going to take a lot to convince me to buy them. From this moment forward, I am going to buy the best out there for my money; Stallantis is not close to being competitive. It sucks because Jeeps and Dodges are what I really want, but I am not going to purchase just because of the name plate by a company that no longer exists. They have a lot of convincing to do with products, pricing, and quality to back it up. Until that happens, they are going to continue to fail.

I know the Italian princess royalty pockets are lined deep, but I’m not sure they will weather this storm. The nearly unanimous responses I see on forum after forum, and on line ads, indicate that the Mopar faithful are just about done with this bunch. And that’s coming from the ones who should be rooting for them! Imagine those who could care less about the brands and are just out shopping for a car. We were told time and again on this very forum by some regulars that it’s all about the margins, who needs volume. Well apparently the Frenchies and Tonios believed it. And here we are. Come back….. horse’s a$& .

Fiat outsells all the other brands globally. The PSA side of the house is phasing out the FCA engineered engines and transmissions for their own obsolete leftovers. Corporate statements emphasizing things such as "characterized by class leading performance in terms of weight and production cost" over performance and durability bothers me greatly.

Let the xenophobes buy a GM product and enjoy what American assembled means.

There is a rich set of products in the final gates, they are profoundly behind, which I ultimately will turn out to be a good thing allow the shift to REEV version to be seamless. Leading with EV models is understandable given how completely far behind STLA is in meeting the CARB requirements to stay in business in those States.

I do wonder people who come here to be informed but have no idea there is a glut of new products and at this point aside from the Wagoneer S which is basically a fancy Cherokee, that nothing is promised to be EV only.

As for the idea that only if Chrysler gets no product does that mark success. The 300 for over a half decade has sold less than 2 per dealer per month... at this point its a Minivan people mover company not a premium brand and hasn't been since Daimler stole it.

I have been watching the Panda launch; I am excited to see that as a Renegade replacement and would in general and always have thought that should be offered here.

Twenty year old product with no refresh in ten years, no marketing support, and no replacement in sight stopped selling over time. Check. Thanks for the valuable market insight.
