A new report suggests that Stellantis could see its annual earnings plummet by as much as 75% due to the Trump administration’s recently announced 25% tariffs on imported vehicles and parts. With Stellantis relying heavily on manufacturing in Canada and Mexico, these tariffs could force the European auto giant into a major restructuring to stay competitive in the U.S. market.

Be interested in knowing how the analyst knows exactly where parts in Canada and Mexico assembly come from. Many of those cars are assembled with exported parts from the US and reimported, which are exempt from tariffs. Besides they already gave Stellantis a reprieve on the tariff date.

The answers are pretty straight forward.

Move STLA Large SUV production to the US. Even the models for the EU and export them.

Owned and Operated by Foreign companies that have high tariffs on American car imports. Trump's correcting the mess our weak, self-centered politicians created over the past 50 years. Most media outlets live to gaslight their audience for reactions and bash Trump. Corrupt Money flows to these outlets, hopefully not this one but I bet it does.
