STELLANTIS: 2022 New Cars from Europe

These look legit/not renders. Hornet looks good!

Of course it's all renders and nothing official.

That Peugeot reminds me of similar Fiat concept from LATAM.
Not a reliable site

Peugeot which is mentioned is in ON/OFF mode for some time now. Some people even said that it's postponed.

In the meanwhile there are some good news.

It seems that they've approved plans for E segment Alfa Romeo models. Not one but two. SUV and liftback.
At the same time new generation Giulia should also be a liftback.

We'll see if they will persist with BEV only policy. Italian dealers were far from happy with and with the new plans in general and as we see they've already changed them.

That's fantastic if confirmed!

If E-segment models are back on the menu are they going to unfreeze the products that were being developed and were killed by Manley, or will they start from scratch?
Oh, and a liftback is not enough. Bring a motherf*cking station wagon. That's a basic requirement for strong sales in Europe.

E-segment should be grouped with the Development of the Dodge EV and Maserati so there will be some saving there for both.

I am a little concerned that he French will cheap out and make the differences limited to endcaps and appointment levels like it is 1995 or something.

Given the gap between Maserati styling and Dodge Muscle car requirement .... something in-between as a Alfa should be possible.

Just please please make them unique to the brand,

The C-SUV from A.R. and D. appear to be the same body with different cowl or facia . Same window frame, same mirror, same beltline...

Typically that how people do photoshop renders...taking elements from different cars and grafting them together

Good to hear E-segment Alfa is back on the table. Let’s hope and see if they proceed with it.
I heard the Italian government is opposing the EU move to BEV-only.
I already forgot, but are Alfa produced in Italy?

Wasn’t the old rumored Alfa E-segment developed with Dodge ?

Think that was more people lack of understanding of how Computation Optimization was allowing Giorgio Architecture to be evolved into the larger Dodge and Maserati. But basically yes.

If there's something where they actually accentuate the differences between brands, it's the styling.
Opels, Peugeot and Citroen look nothing alike. Even DS is looking more distinct than Citroen than ever.

Usually they cheap out on changing the platforms and mechanics and outsource as much as possible.
cgseller, all Alfas are produced in Italy. That will change with the sub-compact SUV that will share components with PSA sub-compact SUVs.

It won't be enough the Dodge and Alfa will need to have a different character that styling alone will get you.

But if that happens we can go to the full line up of Chrysler branded vehicles like in the 1980s.:p

Yeah.... could slap some chrome on it and sell if for less then any other brand.
