The Alfa Romeo brand has been on a roll recently. With the recent addition of the all-new 2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale C-SUV, the Italian marque is getting ready to launch a new B-SUV, and refreshed version of its Stelvio and Giulia models to help hold the brand over until their electrified replacements arrive in 2025 and 2026, respectively.

This is not an ugly car, but I have never been thrilled with the overall look of the Giulia, it needs some “zoom” accents to stand out, especially on the sides. I tested the Stelvio and liked its looks much better, but thought, though it handled well, was taunt and solid, it lacked the power to go with its looks. I thought too many items were extra cost options and were not up to par in those areas with the Jeep Cherokee Overland I chose over it at a lower final price. I hope the short comings have been addressed and in my neck of the woods, Alfa Romeos are doing very well sales wise. Wishing them well, but a larger, sedan, SUV and a performance coupe is needed more than just a few tweaks to these two mid sized offerings to really energize the brand.
