Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has announced an important change regarding the Product Development department. In particular, the engineer Roberto Fedeli will be responsible for the Global Innovation sector, leaving the role of Chief Technical Officier (CTO) of Alfa Romeo and Maserati.
Fedeli was hired in 2016 by FCA after a brief experience in BMW where he had developed electrification technologies. The role of head of the development for future Alfa Romeo and Maserati models will now be covered by Joe Grace , former head of global architecture of FCA .
In turn, the latter role will be played by Tom Cowing who until now has been director of the Chassis Engineering and Vehicle Dynamics department at Chrysler.
Roberto Fedeli during his career also played an important role in Ferrari contributing to the creation of various cars of the Maranello brand: 456, 355, 550 Maranello, 360 Modena, California T, LaFerrari and 458 Speciale.
