RECALL: 2023 Jeep® Grand Cherokee for HVAC Defect
Blower Motor Failure May Impact Windshield Defrosting
Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) has issued a recall for certain 2023 Jeep® Grand Cherokee (WL74) and Jeep Grand Cherokee L (WL75) vehicles due to a potential defect in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) blower motor. The affected vehicles may experience a failure of the blower motor, rendering the windshield defrosting and defogging system inoperative. This condition results in noncompliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 103, “Windshield Defrosting and Defogging Systems.”
