The full-size pickup truck market is a cornerstone of the U.S. automotive industry, known for its fierce competition and loyal customer base. However, the first half of 2024 has shown a shift in the landscape, with overall sales experiencing a decline. Despite this, certain brands have managed to maintain or even grow their market share, but not Ram.

Sales will get worse before there is any hope of getting better. The 1st 6 months of the year there were still V8 Rams to sell. Once they are gone, sales will drop more when those who want a V8 find out the biggest engine they can get is a 3.0 six.,
Looking at dealer inventories around my area, there are a lot of '25 3.6 Rams on the lots collecting dirt. The 3.0's aren't doing much better. Offering only 1k incentives doesn't help. The dealers have so many product holes and Stellantis crippled them with this version of the Ram. They should have offered the Hurricane as an upgrade and still allowed the Hemi option for those who wanted it. I wouldn't be surprised to see some smaller CJDR dealers calling it quits because of the meager product lineup. Once again those who worship margins rule.. When there are no sales, margins don't mean s**t.

Hello, I’ve been looking at Ram 2500 Laramie diesel trucks. They’re only offering a $2000 rebate. Any thoughts that after July 31 they will offer more incentives? They have a lot of 2500s on the ground at my local dealership. Thanks!

It is called AFFORDABILITY. Do I eat, or do I show off my new truck? The majority of Americans are thinking twice about how much to spend. I won't bother to talk about the other brands... LOL. One of which is the reigning KING of MOST RESOLD VEHICLES.

2025 are here...need to wait to see the sales number.
