Frankly I'm surprised at good accurate it is, given it was produced by an outsider. Very well done video. This isn't fatal, but big changes need to happen - starting with a clean sheet, lower displacement, electrically assisted (PHEV and Series Hybrid) Hemi.

The 3L I6 doesn't move the needle, sorry. Lack of sales going forward will back that up as well.

I have this in my Watch Later list too

Haven’t watched, but Jeeps are too expensive. That’s a big problem, they went from a relatively obscure and affordable utility vehicle to bloated soccer mom mobile and it sucks.

Frankly, the reason they moved so many JL Wranglers from 2018 to 2020 is because we had an excellent administration and an excellent economy with almost non-existant interest rates and FCA was able to leverage that into amazing leasing deals. I remember seeing entry level base JL Wranglers leasing at $199 per month. Even a decked out Sport S could be taken home at $399 per month. Adding 2 additional doors during the prior model run made the Wrangler practical finally, and now the unreal leasing deals on JL made it attainable. As soon as the interest rates went to he11 and prices went even higher and no lease deals were to be had, sales hit a wall.

Dealer tech here. This is a surprisingly good video. Stellantis has cost-cut the entire US market. They fired engineers, plant workers, and made suppliers go somewhere else. We have insanely overpriced, unreliable vehicles, built by people who no longer care as they're being let go left and right. The engineers have been almost completely replaced by low cost country workers who have a fraction of the US engineering experience and it shows on our products. Do an investigation into all the problems with the Wrangler 4XE if you want to see how far this rabbit hole goes. Total piles of **** being sold for 60k+.

I saw this weekend that Jeep is doing $399 lease deal on 4xe in an attempt to move inventory. I would do that. Affordable and under warranty. What I would NOT do is buy one for $800/mo for 6 years or more.
