Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) has recalled specific MOPAR Brake Pedal Assemblies with Part #68607178AA intended for use with 2024 to 2025 Dodge Hornet R/T PHEV (GG) crossovers. According to the recall, these brake pedal assemblies may collapse, causing a loss of brake function.

Yeap they are faster than Samsung on solutions…… both vehicles have recalls.

Not sure what brake peddle collapse means in this situation, does it go to the floor like in a loose of pressure, or is it bending and going to the floor.

The only good thing about this is that the six of these my local dealer brought in are still on the lot, no need for a stop sale order, they can’t give them away.

This is what happens when you cut suppliers pay to the core, you get crap parts

The mechanism is collapsing under panic braking it has happen in to 3 cases, one was a accident

I the PHEV so it brake by wire, the friction brake only higher pressure. It is material or design issue.
