Ahhh they are need to do this to survive. Maybe call it Fiat Leap or something but .... EU bottom of the Market will be dominated in 5 years.Just love how Tavares complained about Chinese competition, yet he pushed a Chinese brand into his dealers to undercut their legacy vehicles.
I choose to reject products from China. They are products produced by an oppressive government and should never be sold by Stellantis. You have to stand for something or you stand for nothing at all. Hope this whole venture fails for Stellantis as good folks just say “ no thanks”.Love em or hate em, the fact remains that these Chinese designed and built battery electrics and extended range models work well and seemed sorted out. How about that Charger EV, is it ready for prime time? Or the Ram REV? Hopefully the Ramcharger will arrive fully polished and ready for duty.
Chrysler bought into Mitsubishi in the 1970's, selling some of the Japanese products and using other technology in domestic built vehicles. Daimler finally destroyed that relationship. I suspect Leap has some technical know-how which Stellantis could use.
