LAST HURRAH FOR THIS GENERATION OF CHALLENGERS

Am reading where no one will be able to order a 2023 Challenger according to their specifications. Is this true? I’ve been saving to order a 1320 Challenger. Would someone be so kind to confirm one way or the other? Thank you in advance!

You'll be able to order to your specifications. Just the special edition models that were under the car covers will be pre specced.

Did you ever order a 1320?

Yes and took delivery towards end of last year.
Did FCA tell you how many 1320's were made in 2023? I was hoping they would since you bought one. It would be really nice to know how many were made during the five year run.
2019-1054 / 2020-410 / 2021-659 / 2022-334 / 2023-? Thanks!

They do not release that information any more

Well that is disappointing. They sure did end production in a very sad/negative way. Last call nonsense, limited dealer allocations, greedy dealer markups, and now being stingy with production information. I gotta say, as a long time Mopar lover (since 1977) this has left a very bad taste in my mouth...

MOPAR WILLY PREDICTION ALERT - There will be a next generation Challenger, built on the STLA Large platform, shorter wheelbase than Charger. Two door only.
Look for Hurricane power in two levels and a base four and that engine boosted by a hybrid electric. AWD of course. All the engineering is there in the Charger and Dodge needs more product. Small hatchback on Hornet coming too.
Not the slightest suggestion of inside info, just another “ if I ran Dodgeism” for your thoughts. How many want Mopar Willy running Dodge, raise your hands !
