If the Ram 1000 is federalized, it better have a decent powertrain. The 2.4 Tigershark/9-speed is OK in the ProMaster City, but is lacking in other applications.
FCA is barely building enough of the Toro and Ram 1000 for the Latin American market. Where else would they build it? Ford is likely counting on sharing sales with other markets, and will probably build the Maverick on the same line as the B Sport. (I could be wrong about the last point.)
It would be great if the Ram 1000 was offered here. I love the Comanche more, but I don't see any two seater being a big seller in our market. Could Jeep sell enough in other markets to make the Comanche a reality?
