According to a report from L’argus, the second-gen DS 7 Crossback will launch in 2025 as a pure electric compact luxury crossover. The DS 7 Crossback EV will borrow the STLA Medium from the Peugeot e-3008 due in 2023.
Another DS EV in the pipeline is an SUV-coupe inspired by the DS Aero Sport Lounge concept. It goes by the codename ‘DS P85,’ which could be a more aerodynamic version of the DS 7 Crossback EV. Moreover, the company is studying a compact 7-seat SUV internally called ‘DS P95’ which could be a VW ID.6 rival, the report adds.
The DS 3 Crossback will see a full model change in 2026, and that’s the year when Stellantis plans to start using the STLA Small platform. So, maybe the next-gen DS 3 Crossback E-Tense will debut or be among the first to capitalize the STLA Small platform.
The car industry is experiencing a change whose breadth and speed are unprecedented. As a pioneer, DS Automobiles anticipated this move with electrification at the centre of its strategy,” says DS CEO Béatrice Foucher. “I took the decision to speed up the development to create a new 100% electric art of travel, desirable in terms of enjoyment and remarkable in terms of quality and performance.”
