Dodge Has More New Models Coming Than Previously Thought

Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis is not shy about the brand's future product plans following the discontinuation of the Charger and Challenger LX platform-based siblings.

Tim believes that despite the plan only being exclusive to the eyes of dealers, details will still leak out afterwards. Get ready for more rampant rumors like Alfa Romeo deals with.

Body on Frame SUV variant to compete for Tahoe police vehicle sales, built on the same line as the Wagoneer. WTAP needs help though, they are having issues because many of the experienced and skilled individuals went to SHAP. This model won't be called Durango.

I am hearing they are evaluating a successor to Durango, which is separate form the seven passenger body on frame SUV cited above. The seven passenger market is profitable enough to have numerous entries. Current Durango production will cease in 2025.

They want to steal sales from Tahoe and Explorer police vehicles, which is a very lucrative market.

It's probably more complex, but don't see why Jeep doesn't take over for BOF police vehicles since Dodge is clearly in a specific niche.
Although it does sound like SUVs are actually expanding more than anything if true, and I don't really know how to feel about it.

If Dodge is still here after 2024, something I'd love to see is a flagship eMuscle that serves as a spiritual successor to the AMC AMX.
2 seats unlike the Charger Daytona, and a even more droopy/slide down design that would make for excellent areo with the R Wing also at the front. A true weekend machine for the new era of auto.
Although they'll likely just plan out some EV Viper to whip the Ultium based Corvette coming soon.
