I know I’m gonna get ripped apart for saying this, but I’m gonna say it anyway. I think it’s time that we stop playing this, I hate China thing and start selling the Atitude and the Journey here in the US. Yes I know they’re made in China and I know there’s a lot of us that hate them because you’re a communist country. For those of us that don’t want to buy them like myself. I think we don’t, but other people that buy Mopar brand they don’t care where the cars are made I think they should have that choice. Based on seeing the new Mexican Journey firsthand when I was visiting San Diego, I was pretty impressed by the size, by the look and by the inside set up of this vehicle. It seemed to be slightly bigger than my wife’s 2017 Cherokee, but smaller than my Durango. I was more impressed by the Mexican Journey than I am with the Dodge Hornet. We need to do something to fill the gap of missing vehicles in the Dodge lineup. Having a few cheaper vehicles in that lineup would be helpful. It’s been said that some of those cars are junk. But if you listen to all the people that MF the Mopar brand they say all our stuff is junk whether it’s made in the US Canada or Mexico. If they’re not gonna buy a Dodge, they’re not gonna buy a Dodge simple as that. What I feel our beautiful vehicles that we are not getting here in the US and they seem to be selling pretty well down in Mexico. It’s time to add these two vehicles to the US lineup. Do whatever needs to do to make them safe for US standards. Sell them not only will it increase sales, it will increase the number of cars in our lineup and possibly get more people into the showroom and those people that might not want the Attitude or the Journey may buy one of the new Chargers or something else that’s on the floor in any Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram showroom.
