Finally, Dodge is bringing the GLH nameplate back, after promising to do so in late 2022. The upcoming Hornet GLH is set to arrive later this year. Dodge CEO Matt McAlear confirmed the news in a roundtable interview with The Drive, stating, “[The Hornet GLH] was a concept, but you should see it this calendar year. Let’s leave it at that.”

The idea of the Hornet isn't bad being that it's the more performance-oriented option between vehicles like the Escape, the Trax and the Trailblazer. Truth is, while it's not as raw as it's predecessors, the Hornet is definitely in position to fill the niche of the SRT4 Caliber as it truly is the Sport Compact of the Compact Sport Utility Vehicle world. I do agree with Triple-T that a 2.0L Hurricane-4 should be the powertrain for the GLH and that 2.0L Hurricane-4 should be the 300+hp EVO version and mated to an 80hp rear EDM. Just saying.
