This one is from a long time ago, but it features Steve Miller, CEO, IAC Automotive who was a former head at Chrysler Corp and worked on a deal between Chrysler and FIAT back in the 1990s. Very interesting to hear about it. Looks like FIAT and Chrysler were meant to be.

Back in in the 1980's one Fiat executive Vittorio Ghidella, a Fiat brand CEO, wanted cooperation with Ford of Europe. Actually that was a leading guy on a technical side. The guy who was completely behind a platform sharing. He was denied by a Cesare Romiti, a CEO of a Fiat Group, who was a businessman or an economist. And then the dark age of Fiat has begun. A lot of focus on a non automotive business from a Fiat... That brought them to brink of bankruptcy and led to a less development for an automotive sector.
