Again, personally I'm not against the EV and BEV in particular, but the push is too aggressive.

The battery electric vehicle as a panacea to solve everything will lead to disaster. One size fits all doesn't work.

Which is why they shouldn't be involved the solution in the first place. What should have been done was to set emission goals and then let the engineers and market choose the best solution.
