I was lucky enough to have three of my friends owning Prowlers. Two of them still own one. Did any of them take me for a ride, let me drive it, well actually NO !
My wife loves them and when my friend Denis across the street passed away, she thought in time she could approach his wife, our good friend for years, on purchasing the striking silver Prowler. But as it should be in families, six months later she gifted it to her grandson who also loved that Prowler. Good for her.
Last Tuesday I saw a yellow Prowler at our weekly car show in Oyster Bay, so I asked my wife if she still wanted one. Sadly (for me) she said that that ship has sailed. For me it might have sunk.
Now I have no excuse to buy one and pretend it was a gift for her. Bad me.
That beautiful example last Tuesday drew many lookers proving that the Prowler’s appeal is eternal. That’s a long time. You never know, do we ?
