Over the years, we have seen a number of awesome modern Dodge Challenger builds. But this might be one of the cooler ones.

Using a 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T as its basis, this Challenger was modified by Steve Mirabelli of Hendrick Motorsports and fitted with the steel body from a 1971 Plymouth GTX. To help tie the car together is a custom-made front fascia. All of the work done to the car took about four years to complete.

I'm still of the opinion that they should have done a rotation of styling. Challenger then Cuda then GTX, say 5 years for each one then start over. I would have been really tempted by a 71 GTX version.
