Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling 1,831 right-hand drive (RHD) 2016 Jeep® Wrangler (JK) vehicles due to an issue that may prevent the driver’s side airbag from deploying in a crash. According to the recall, debris contamination may cause the clockspring to fail, preventing the driver’s airbag from deploying in a crash. Some 2016 RHD models may have been built with a clockspring design that allows dust/debris to enter the mechanism, and they may experience a clockspring failure.
