Stellantis North America and Unifor (the union representing the workers at the Windsor Assembly Plant) have announced a second extension of the facility’s second shift, until the end of June 2023.
“We have continued to fight and argue over that second shift issue,” Dave Cassidy, President of Unifor Local 444 said in a video posted on the union’s Facebook page. “We will continue to have those dialogues and debates to make sure it’s right off the radar before we go back to our three shifts.”
