Disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein filed a lawsuit against former Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in a New York court on Tuesday, claiming $5 million in compensation from FCA over an accident he had back in August 2019 in a Jeep® Wrangler (JK).
Weinstein who was behind the wheel of a 2017 Jeep Wrangler swerved to avoid a deer and crashed into a tree, not too far from his home in Bedford, New York. According to the suit, the vehicle “failed to decelerate despite Weinstein’s application of the vehicle’s braking system which resulted in a loss of vehicle control and subsequent rollover of the vehicle.”
