Maserati North America, Inc. has issued a voluntary safety recall for about 409 vehicles sold in the United States according to documents published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The recall involves four different models in the brand’s lineup to replace a fuel line sensor housing.
According to the recall, a fuel line sensor fuel leak may cause fuel starvation of the engine. In rare circumstances, if the leaked fuel comes in contact with an ignition source, a fire could occur.
