Pedregon Gets Dodge//SRT First Win Of The 2021 NHRA Season At Norwalk!​

Snap-On Tools Team Conquers From No. 10 Qualifying Spot...​

The first victory of the 2021 National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Camping World Drag Racing season for a Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat was earned from the No. 10 qualifying spot on the eliminations ladder by 2x NHRA Funny Car World Champion, Cruz Pedregon. He drove his Pedregon Racing Snap-On Tools machine to the national event win at the Summit Racing Equipment Nationals near Norwalk, Ohio. It was a 37th career Funny Car win for Cruz Pedregon whose last victory came in 2018 at Charlotte NHRA Four-Wide Nationals.

Very concerned about the performance of the only two Challengers in Factory Stock. Lots more R&D time is needed to get these cars and perhaps three or four more competitive. Time to devote resources here.

It's becoming a super competitive field. But the NHRA has penalized the Drag Pak teams over and over again because they were so much faster to the point where they aren't competitive anymore. I am sure the NHRA will adjust the rules in the upcoming weeks.
