Heavy rains pounded the City of Detroit and its surrounding areas on Friday night, bringing severe flooding to many parts of the area. People were forced to abandon their cars on several sections of I-75 and I-94, after trying to drive through the fast-rising waters. The storms continued to pour late into the night, leaving around 46,000 homes without power.

Good thing FCA/Stellantis has/had aggressive Insurance.
One thing I do/ should post is the recent Ford/GM comments about chip shortage situation significantly improving in the Summer.
Stellantis and the others will and have prioritize models as well product builds.

I doubt this will be paid for by insurance, unless Stellantis has a very opened ended insurance policy, and the premiums on those are extremely expensive.

Half the blame is on FCA for not having an emergency drainage mechanism for these plants for the water to go into the Detroit river, which is half mile south - the other half of the blame is with Detroit, which is notorious for having non-working/terrible sewers for rain events like this - incompetency and stupidity for this continue to happen.

This happened six or seven years ago, and nothing was fixed.

so maybe I can find a slightly damp 25" one for a run about.

There was fires in Tianjin China with FCA and the vehicles were covered by insurance.
