We have had a mix bag of e-mails lately. Some are praising the fact that Ram Trucks has chosen to upgrade the existing Ram Heavy Duty lineup for the upcoming model year. While others are upset that the updated Ram Heavy Duty trucks are not based on the all-new 5th generation 2019 Ram 1500.

The 4.5 generation Ram Heavy Duty as we are calling it, have blended what people loved about the 4th generation Ram Trucks lineup with the all-new 2019 Ram 1500.

At the end of the day I am hearing problems with LED headlights on the new Jeep JL's.

The LED doesn't make enough heat to melt ice and snow off the headlights.... so you drive a mile in a blinding snowstorm at night to have to stop and wipe off your headlights.

Maybe they are too advanced for the times.

That's a problem with LEDs in general in the snow. The JL's design does make it worse, as the headlights are inset.
