I'm hoping someone here can give me an answer to a puzzling question... How do you tell (without opening the fuel door) if a particular 300S with the 3.6L V6 is Flex Fuel ready from the factory? I have been trying for weeks to come up with some mechanism from the VIN or the original Monroney sticker to tell if cars are Flex Fuel capable. Background: I am looking for a very particular combination of features on a 2018 300S so that I can buy one. It must be Flex Fuel ready, and I am sick and tired of talking to salespeople that are completely clueless on this issue.

Any help is appreciated!

Window Sticker.

Other than that... ?????

Thanks for the link. I have been using Research Maniacs to get the same information. I spent about 4 wasted hours on this yesterday looking up EVERY 2018/2019 300 Limited within 100 miles and could not find a single Flex Fuel 300 anywhere. I am beginning to thing that Chrysler talks about Flex Fuel for the 300, but does not actually build them unless you specifically order one.

We live in New England but in 2015 my wife purchased a new 2015 Chrysler 200C V6 with the options we wanted and had it shipped out of Denver it was setup for E85. We were not purchasing for that option but it got me thinking that maybe most flex fuel vehicles are ordered in states where E85 is more prevalent. So maybe research the biggest usage E85 states and start your search there?

Just for those who may be interested in this thread...I spent some time today working with the sales manager and the chief inventory guy at Rick Hendrick Chrysler / Dodge in Atlanta today. I challenged them with finding a flex fuel vehicle for me! After doing a 1000 mile radius search against the manufacturers order code for flex fuel (XKN), and not finding a flex fuel Charger or 300 anywhere, they contacted their manufacturers rep. According to them, the plant responsible for the flex fuel Pentastar engines in the car (not truck) program has been closed, and none of the cars are being built going forward. This has been unannounced by FCA and explains why you can't find one any longer.
