Jeep® Will Update Its 2026 Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer Lineup

Jeep® is preparing to roll out a mid-cycle refresh (MCA) for its Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer (WS) models for 2026. The update brings subtle design changes, an improved transmission, and the introduction of a Range-Extending Electric Vehicle (REEV) variant to expand the lineup.

Still like the idea of a Wagoneer sub-brand but smarter people see differently, so I cede to their thinking. However, there is value in some exclusivity for the Wagoneer which gives luxury seeking buyers an option with Jeep.
The upscale model seems to be generating some strong sales of the Wagoneer line so the effort seems to have a bright future. Simplifying the number of models is the right decision. Jeep did a great job in my opinion.

Hopefully that huge rear spoiler makes its way onto the new SUV

Broderdorf quote from mid-February indicated late 2025, not 2026 for Wagoneer EREV. are we really looking at another year-long delay?

"we'll see the range-extending version come in near the end of the year, and we'll see how this begins to complement this product."

- Bob Broderdorf, Jeep CEO

Pepe biggest failure was all in on EV instead of looking at what Honda and Toyota were doing.

Bring back the BLUE interior. (or at least blue & white like RAM Tungston). BLACK/CAMEL/Mouse grey are soooo GENERIC!

I had always wanted them to use the “Grand” as the designation longer wheelbase. That started with the Caravan/Grand Caravan back in the day. Could’ve worked with Cherokee/Grand Cherokee as well as Wagoneer/Grand Wagoneer. Could’ve held the Summit Reserve for Grand only models as well. Otherwise, go the other way and stop pretending Wrangler isn’t a sub-brand. The current 4door Wrangler would be Wrangler Cherokee. So on with Wrangler Gladiator. To me sometimes the simple answers far outweigh the smartest person in the room. Notice the newer brands outdoing the traditional ones of the past. Kia/Hyundai/Genesis are selling tons by drawing in new buyers based on listening to customer wants.
The old Big 3 need to dig in.
