More Horsepower, More Torque, and Better Fuel Economy...

Jeep® Brazil is enhancing its flagship three-row D-SUV, the Commander Overland 4×4, by introducing a more powerful and efficient 2.2-liter turbodiesel I4 engine.
The new 2.2-liter turbodiesel I4 substantially upgrades the outgoing diesel powerplant, producing 200 horsepower and 450 Nm (332 lb.-ft.) of torque. This marks an increase of 30 horsepower and 70 Nm (52 lb.-ft.), making the SUV more agile on and off the road. With this new engine, the Commander can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 9.7 seconds, shaving two full seconds off its previous time.
