Jeep® CEO: 'Assessing' Production Options for Next-Gen Cherokee...

With President-elect Donald Trump set to take office, Stellantis is preparing for potential changes in its production strategy as the new administration’s policies begin to take shape. Key manufacturing decisions, including where to build future models like the 2026 Jeep® Cherokee (KM), are on hold as the automaker assesses the political landscape.

Stellantis better take a long hard look at Belvedere for the two row only Cherokee, it makes perfect sense. A Chrysler spin off could be built as a three row version. Should be enough volume to make a nice profit and more if the pickup shares the platform and architecture. Cherokee in 2025, Chrysler in early 2026, pickup late 2026. Trump I’m sure will make deals with Mexico and Canada to lower tariffs on stuff already in product and no reasonable relocation place for perhaps three or four years, if they follow his goals on the boarder. All parties will comply for sure.
I’d do it like this.
