The Jeep® Wagoneer S Looks Like A Great All-Around Package

The Wagoneer S Looks Like a Better Value Than the Charger Daytona...

I had a chance to get my first good look at the Jeep® Wagoneer S Launch Edition at the 2025 Detroit Auto Show yesterday. While many people are on the fence about electric vehicles (EVs), this latest Jeep blends luxury and capability in a practical D-segment package. With a range of over 300 miles per charge, 600 horsepower on tap, and a 0 to 60 mph time of 3.4 seconds, the Wagoneer S is set to turn heads.

Hopefully the Jeep Engineers have worked out a lot of the software glitches and issues by the time it goes on sale. If not it will be a flop and Stellantis cannot afford to have 2 EV in a row be sales flops.

As stated before, I’m a big advocate of the Jeep Wagoneer sub brand as the luxury model for the brand. I also believe the Wagoneer S can be a solid offering to enhance the Wagoneer lineup, but my interest is not there with all electric as a stranglehold on my interest and many potential buyers. Sharing most everything with the Charger, a Six Pack version would reignite my interest. Indeed the S can resonate with electric buyers, but so many more would be brought to Wagoneer with a choice of power plants. Hopefully Jeep reads the tea leaves and brings more choices to the luxury of Jeeps premier sub brand.

I don’t really understand this Jeep Wagoneer S, this should of been a Chrysler model in my opinion. They have been talking about Chrysler going all EV for a while now shown some nice looking concepts and bringing Dodge and Jeeps out instead. I don’t get what the S means does that mean (Small?) compared to the L Wagoneer??.

They should of been releasing a ICE Cherokee by now not anouther EV Flop.

Still what? two years to see any new Chryslers on the market, they should give the damn minivan back to Dodge aswell as Ram trucks put Chrysler on ice until they get the quality and crap sorted out and bring out a line of great vehicles for the brand.
