Jeep® Grand Wagoneer Ranks Third Among Slowest Sellers

High Prices and Interest Rates Impact Sales...

As Stellantis works to align production with demand, three of its vehicles have landed on the list of the Top-10 slowest-selling cars in the U.S. for November 2024. The Jeep® Grand Wagoneer, Fiat 500e, and Alfa Romeo Giulia are struggling to move off dealer lots, a reflection of high prices and persistent economic pressures, including rising interest rates.

The Lincoln Navigator is on the list also. Credit is too tight for enabling consumers who want to pretend they're rich to buy such a vehicle.

Our rental fleet has a bunch of Grand Wagoneers. During busy family holiday periods, when we run out of minivans, we offer the Grand Wagoneer wall flowers as a substitute. This is done at no extra cost.

Think considering the economy, short sighted over pricing and the tough traditional loyalty factor for the competition, these numbers do not shock.
The Wagoneer is doing reasonably well. I’ve looked Wagoneer over and feel Jeep did not deliver on the interior for the lower end models.
Price adjustments should help but Jeep needs more attention to the small concerns that have soured too many. The mid-cycle update must address those issues. Still believe the Wagoneer experiment will succeed with fewer models that puts the sub brand as three model of Wagoneer that should be Limited, Overland, and the Grand Wagoneer. Keep it simple.
