Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares recently expressed caution regarding the automaker’s financial outlook, stating that it is “too soon” to confirm the 2025 dividend. This announcement comes asStellantis shares have plunged 4%, reaching their lowest since July 2022. The decline follows a significant profit warning earlier this week, raising concerns among investors about the sustainability of dividends and share buybacks.

I’m a Stellantis stockholder and there is no panic here, let’s cool our motors here. Stellantis has its serious problems, but with new leadership ASAP and immediate action on altering moderately in some areas and radically in others, the current business plan, this thing can be resolved without bankruptcy or insolvency. It will take all hands on deck, management, workers, dealers, investors and marketing, Some quick fix suggestions.
1- New CEO immediately, an American for sure.
2- Abandon the “all electric” policy for brands, add hybrids and gas powered vehicles across the board, every brand.
3- Fast track a updated V-8 for brands that featured them last generation.
4- Bring back the Challenger, 300, Cherokee and a midsize Ram pickup as soon as possible and announce them immediately. Gas power for all.
5- Delay the launch of Wagoneer S and Racon until a hybrid version can be an option. Announce this immediately.
6- Fast track the launch of Charger Six Pack Hurricane powered muscle car and add a hybrid version ASAP. Announce immediately.
Think that might end the crisis quickly. Think all these are non-negotiable and necessary to save Stellantis and selfishly, my investment.
