The all-new 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona, the first all-electric vehicle (EV) from the Dodge brand, has won the 2025 “Performance Green Car of the Year” from Green Car Journal. It marks the first award for the new Dodge e-muscle car.

“What’s magical is that it delivers its impressive performance through the inherent efficiency of zero-emission electric drive as it addresses the need to reduce carbon emissions and promote environmental achievement.”

What's so magical about it? You can say this for every 500-1000hp EV on the market. At least with those EVs, they've actually been in customer hands. What a hilariously goofy statement to make for a car that basically no one has driven.

I’ll take anything positive for Dodge right now, even if it’s questionable.
I would be much more enthusiastic if the Gas Powered Muscle Car Association (GPMCA) was awarding the 2025 Dodge Challenger it’s prestigious award for its next generation V-8 powered muscle car that people actually are clamoring for and would sell. Seems like the Green Car thing is really a posthumous award for this dead on arrival offering, sadly.
We can resurrect the Dodge brand if that Challenger really existed and that GPMCA thing was more than a figment of my imagination.
Actually, it’s not that far fetched or unimaginable, is it Dodge lovers?

I would like to know why Dodge is getting rid of the challenger?
And It seems like the only new charger is the Daytona one?
