Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) has been awarded a patent for what appears to be a groundbreaking rolling launch control system, poised to enhance the new generation of e-muscle cars, muscle cars, and high-performance vehicles. This innovative technology aims to improve vehicle acceleration from a rolling start, particularly in racing scenarios, offering a more controlled and powerful launch.

Just can not see this technology getting anyone reluctant on electrics into a Daytona. I am however anxious to see one up close and personal, maybe drive one, but I’m hanging on to my Hemi Challenger R/T for the foreseeable future. Think most Challenger owners will follow that strategy.
Rumors of issues with the Daytona and WagoneerS are everywhere online so the rolling launch control is a distraction and not a cure. Call a doctor.

It's a cool thought for the Six pack cars to have this feature. Looking forward to seeing this in a 420hp Six Pack coupe

EV you are a passenger behind the Wheel so why not.

I'm still wishing they'd just put the hybrid transmission behind the Hurricane engines and call it a day

This might be a dying wish, maybe last day of the pure ice era, but I think a Tuned Hurricane 4 or X might be a best hope.

The future is Hybrid EV so I guess you could put a Hurricane6 to make some noise but 4 will provide all the power needed.

There is no reason that ICE must die, so wish on my friend. There remains an overwhelming number of people who basically are happy with and want to continue buying gasoline powered vehicles. In spite of government efforts, those people will remain in the majority with their engine of choice in cars for decades. Many people are open to other forms of power, if and when they become reliable, convenient and cost advantaged, until then, this segment will continue to languish in the marketplace. I believe non-plug in hybrids that are proven to augment and enhance the driving experience are very attractive to many willing to give them a try. As for all electric, I believe their market has peaked and will actually shrink as hybrids become the much more popular alternative for folks that actually buy into the climate change agenda or find the enhanced driving experience of hybrids a plus.
Yes I agree, the AWD Hurricane Chargers are quite alluring, and I’m betting they are the only chance the Charger has of selling cars at profitable levels. Not a dying wish on my part, just a reasonable prediction based on market realities from my perspective. Wishing you fulfilling wishes and outcomes short of death on this subject.
