Well I’d ofcourse prefer Chrysler Group keep their existing engines (345, 392 and HELLCAT) and under R&D get more power out of them, but if they have to downsize displacement please bring back the legendary 340 small block!!
Yea you lost me at the part that this car is a Chinese communist party GAC designed vehicle and rebadged as a dodge.
If Chrysler would build a car completely in house and on their own platform, the R&D in Auburn Hills and build it in a Chrysler plant located in the US or CAN then I’d be...
I love how this guy is talking on a mopar site. He obviously hates Chrysler or is just ignorant to the reality. Chrysler LLC cars are built in NORTH AMERICA, a tactic employed by all the big 3 since the turn of the century. And most importantly the R&D and corporate structure has been based in...
I wish Chrysler would task their engineers with redesigning the the HEMI engines. Imagine their potential with how much power the Hurricane inline6 makes.
More frightening self destructive behavior. How much US talent is being forever lost, talent that will move to the competitors. PSA Group is hellbent on the destruction of Chrysler.
Considering Dodge has long been known as the muscle car brand I can appreciate how important it is to them to have a muscle car flagship. Traditionally muscle cars are 2 doors coupes.
I 100% feel for our friends in Italy. Fiat Chrysler was such a great Italian and American auto company. Stellantis has done a great job disrespecting both countries and both countries specific auto brands.
It blows my mind how the larger and more successful company of this merger (Fiat Chrysler) has allowed the PSA Group side to take over and chip away at all FCA’s successes.
You don’t just layoff HALF of your corporate workforce. This is scary and looks like the Europeans are wiping out the Chrysler (US) side of the company. So sad
Just what I’ve feared. I’m still baffled how a less successful euro company (PSA) can roll in and push the highly profitable and successful big guys around (Chrysler Group), changing their culture, selling or leasing out the HQ etc.
This is awful news. While Chrysler has been through rocky days since the Daimler merger, it’s always been a constant that their HQ has occupied its Pentastar tower complex in Auburn Hills.
