This should of been a Chrysler model plain and simple. Chrysler is suppose to be the luxury brand and Jeep is the Four Wheel Drive SUV brand. Stellantis should do market research here to determine what each brand should sale here.
If think the coupe will be very low volume, it's too big to compete with the new Mustang. First launch should be a four door with inline sixes and RWD. They need to redesign the Hemi with a alum block and fix the camshaft and lifters and hemi tick problems. They should also build a shorter...
So Chrysler has new products, well were are they? Show some prototypes and when are they coming? Jeep has shown the Recon and it is not suppose to be in production in 2025. Dodge showed the Charger EV in 2022 and yet nothing from Chrysler. Stellantis wants the North American market to support...
Stellantis get it together and start cutting your prices at $10K on most vehicles and they will sell. Dodge should discontinue the Hornet al together way worst the 200.
Bill, Chrysler as electric only would never sale enough vehicles to justify keeping the brand alive. Chrysler should be the opposite V6 & V8 models. Their line up should mimic Lexus, but only low volume 2dr. coupe and convertible model and a few SUVs with the best quality and features.
Bill, I like to think you maybe right, but I thinking that the European ownership only wants the Chrysler group (Jeep-Ram) to make profits for their European operations. The new Jeep Wagoneer S should of been a new Chrysler model. Killing off the Challenger for a two door Charger wasn't smart...
Christine Fuell should take them up on their offer. She has done nothing at getting Chrysler back on it's feet. Stellantis sell Chrysler Group before you kill!
Really didn't like the new front end styling. Hopefully it will be more raked in the front. I like the rear only need to increase the size of the light assembly about 3" more. Should have a 2.5L four turbo.
Carlos how about you take a BIG pay cut. I love how the Europeans rape Chrysler for money and screw us on product. When Chrysler Group has new and full line up then Carlos can get a raise, of sell Chrysler Group!
The Europeans think that are superior to us, yet they can't recreate the imagination of US Chrysler. That is why they never are top sellers in the USA. Elon Musk should buy Chrysler Group from Stellantis.
I'm with Bill on this one. The electric models are going to be slow sellers. Notice Dodge didn't start withe Hellcat models. It was SXT,RT,SRT models that provided the funds to do the Hellcats. They should maybe use the hybrid Pacifica drivetrain with around 300 hp as a SXT mode.
With Stellantis raising prices and mis-marketing the line up. It's no wonder sales are down. They have a boatload of new Chargers and Challengers just sitting on dealers lot.
Stellantis is proving to be totally inept at running the Mopar brands. Why is there no small Wrangler that is affordable...
So much of Chrysler Corp was destroyed by the crappy Daimler merger. Cerberus was a joke. FCA was another European domination. The Europeans just don't get why we Americans love are cars. Europe cars are utilitarian and are pretty soulless. The newer FCA/Stellantis products are a hit or miss...
