Thanks Mike! I am glad to hear the base will carry on. The new 2019 cars are amazing and cool. It is crazy the performance numbers on the track that the wide body Scat Pack turned in.
While I like most everything, I have to admit I'm not a fan of the Hellcat fascia on the Scat. I think that...
Exciting stuff, but I’ll be honest - I’m glad I got my 2018 Scat Pack. I wanted a base car that was inexpensive and a bit of a sleeper. I didn’t need or want the suspension (as good as it is).
Uh...no. I've not liked GM styling for years. As a former K5 Blazer owner/fan, I am happy with my JKU thank you. I wasn't really the target for this thing anyway.
Grew up in a Chevy family, played with Fords when my dad worked for them, and graduated to all Mopar/Jeep once I matured ;)
1) First car - 1968 Chevelle 300 Sport Coupe - purchased on my 1st birthday, given to me on the 14th one. Restored it and sold it to finish college:
2) 1970 Olds Cutlass...
Colorado alternates between mild winters and ones that are completely nuts. Also, my area is at 7500' in altitude, so we get weather much worse than Denver does typically. That necessitates a bad weather driver. Luckily, we have two JKU's for that and I was able to keep mine for such days...
Good video. I LOVE that color!
I've spent almost 4,000 miles with my 2018 Scat Pack so far in 3 months - I can tell you that I cannot wipe the smile off of my face every time I drive it. Awesome cars and in my opinion, the best bang for the buck in this segment.
Interesting prospective for sure.
I just had a friend (who pinches pennies like nobody's business) make his entire new car purchase online. The car was even delivered to his door from the next state over. He and I were talking and I'm wondering with the world of mobile apps, how much more...
I'd be interested in the suspension setup on the DesertHawk - the photo appears that it has at least a 2" lift plus massive tires. Curious on the articulation from that.
I'm fine with the bandit grille staying on the SRT only cars. I purchased my Scat because I like the RT nose and hood (I'm a fan of the 1971-ish styling) and the fact that it is a sleeper more or less since from a distance, nobody realizes what it is.
I do wish the Scat would come down in...
