    Humvee maker AM General reportedly for sale, with interest from FCA, GM

    Remember, AM general was once a part of Kaiser and then as a wholly owned subsidiary of AMC. Even the HMMWV was designed during this time. They also made various models based on Jeep products of the day so it is a nice thought.
