Jeep® Teases Its All-New D-Segment Premium Wagoneer S Electric SUV!

Here's to hoping you're right all counts, but they should simplify the number of trims. They tend to go a little overboard. If it were simply-Limited, Overland, Trailhawk, and Summit, people wouldn't get so confused trying to get all the options they want.

Jeep® Teases Its All-New D-Segment Premium Wagoneer S Electric SUV!

I doubt this will sell only in an electric version, I expect gas or HEV models to sell beside it to sway buyers wanting something similar to the Range Rover Velar. They have the SO Hurricane engine, which is more powerful and likely the STLA Large platform will allow for better FE. I'll be...

    Next generation charger?

Also, is Dodge going to move the interiors more upscale as well?

    Next generation charger?

From what we saw of the teaser model under the tarp, it will be gas powered possibly hybrid of some sort. The reason I say that is because a full on electric model wouldn't make use of so many functional air vents.

Christine Feuell Hired as CEO of the Chrysler Brand

Maybe fresh perspective is a great thing. We know that everyone is rushing to electrification, but the biggest sellers are CUV/SUV people haulers. Dodge and Alfa are getting large B CUVs, so Chrysler should get a C-segment model akin to the KM Cherokee. If they aren't planning on anything...

Jeep® Brazil Has An Instant Sales Success With All-New 2022 Commander!

Referring to the KL Cherokee, but if they used the STLA platform wouldn't it be the medium version?

Jeep® Brazil Has An Instant Sales Success With All-New 2022 Commander!

I love the front design of this Commander, I could see some variation of this for the KM Cherokee. Since the Cherokee is up for a redesign, you'd think we'd be seeing some prototypes of the new variant after they revealed this new Commander.

Brazilian Jeep® Commander Will Be Available In Two Trim-Levels!

Jeep should do just 4 trims of the KM (Cherokee) replacement--Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit for the US market. Since the Compass is now over $26K starting and the two row Cherokee is likely to start at $36K, there isn't much room to play in. Jeep can easily target the...

Stellantis’ EV Day 2021 Will Show The Company’s Electrified Future!

They are already in two different classes. Even at 185" the Cherokee would still fall under the compact category as the Grand Cherokee currently sits at 195". I do expect the Grand Cherokee to be slightly wider and longer.

Stellantis’ EV Day 2021 Will Show The Company’s Electrified Future!

I was curious when the Cherokee (KM) was being replaced and hopefully it is this year or early 2022. Isn't it classified as a compact? I would assume it'll stay in that category, but move up in length to about 185" or so.

Jeep Compass 1.5 turbo hybrid caught on the road

So all this from the article is wrong and you know for sure: The new 1.5-liter mild-hybrid electric vehicle (mHEV, also known as a 48V HEV in Europe) powertrain, will be similar to the eTorque system found on the Ram 1500 pickup. The mild-hybrid system replaces the traditional alternator on the...

Jeep Compass 1.5 turbo hybrid caught on the road

I do believe this engine will be linked to the 9AT in the NA market. They wouldn't spend all this time developing the powertrain so similar to 2.0T eTorque, if it couldn't be used with a transmission for this market. Besides that, most other markets have already gotten their 2022 MY versions...

Alfa Romeo Tonale mule caught on the road

I hope you're right on a new Giulietta, it would be nice if the brand had a new gateway model.

Dodge’s Next Vehicle Will Be A SUV Dubbed The “Hornet” For 2023:

I think you meant CX3 or CX30, around the size of the Compass, Crosstrek, etc--which isn't a bad place to start. Maybe with Mazda's push upmarket, Dodge as a niche player can actually get some of that same treatment from Stellantis, at least on the interior treatment. Currently with the...

Dodge’s Next Vehicle Will Be A SUV Dubbed The “Hornet” For 2023:

I'm very curious to see if this takes on a sporty baby Durango look or a new design language? I know it'll likely be the widest and longest in the segment. This would also be a NA exclusive model, it would make more sense for them to produce it here than to import it over. Wouldn't one of...

Dodge’s Next Vehicle Will Be A SUV Dubbed The “Hornet” For 2023:

I agree, making it as light as possible will be key. I feel like they are giving them a FWD variant for FE reasons as well, since no Dodge currently has a high mpg. They most likely will offer mild hybrids across the board on this. Since the 1.5T is expected to boost 200+hp, the 2.0T variant...

FIAT Brazil Launches It’s Updated Toro Pickup For 2022 Model Year:

Bill, you read my mind. I was thinking of a slight widening and give it some of the 1500's interior flair with contemporary touches for city dwellers. They could simply scale down the design of the 2006 Rampage concept. It would be a perfect compliment to the 1500 as the entry level compact...

Jeep® Introduces New 2021 Cherokee Freedom Edition!

I I'm hoping it shares the new Grand Cherokee architecture, which would start putting Jeep in a different league. Overlap is no longer an excuse as every brand does it, people will buy the model that resonates with them. Whatever replaces Cherokee shouldn't just fill the gap between Compass...

Jeep® Introduces New 2021 Cherokee Freedom Edition!

This should be what replaces the Cherokee: The sketch implies a much sportier model and RWD layout. It would also emphasize a push for Jeep to go further upmarket. I hope they simplify the line up for the next generation to about 4 main trims--Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, and Summit. I...

Peugeot Launches Its New Sporty 308 Hatchback With PHEV Technology:

These models are all supposed to revealed as '23MY right? Even more curious of the SUV, would it be a compact model or something else entirely?
