Dodge Charger Daytona Prepares for 2026 Solid-State Upgrade

We have been saying this for a long time, and to overcome regulatory changes, each brand needs to sell an EV version of each vehicle so they can stay compliant, the greenies be happy and we get our ICE engines and V8’s

Dodge CEO Hints at Affordable Sports Car

Mustang V6, Challenger V6 and Charger V6 are the volume sellers.

Stellantis Expands Hybrid Tech With New eDCT Production

I’d be interested to see GSE engine coupled to eDCT.

But a 450hp in a sports car less than $30k isn’t going to happen

Dodge CEO Hints at Affordable Sports Car

Unless it’s going to have a long hood, the Hurricane-6 is long.

I prefer GME 2.0 over the GSE 1.3

Dodge CEO Hints at Affordable Sports Car

It’ll be heavy for such a small car, which will reduce the intended performance

Dodge CEO Hints at Affordable Sports Car

They must choose the right engine and enough with PSA crap. They have the GME PHEV out of Jeep with 375hp, and they have the MHEV out of Maserati with 325hp. And there’s the upcoming “EVO”.

REPORT: 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 Production To Move To The U.S.

The old management deprived of product, while they extremely overpriced the volume sellers. Dodge Hornet should have been packaged and marketed differently and better. Ram should have had an entry level pickup. I can’t understand how the Cherokee got discontinued without an immediate...

REPORT: 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 Production To Move To The U.S.

I want to see a production street legal Inline 6 with 700+hp. That’s where they can keep the V8 and Hellcat engines. @TripleT , don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of the Hurricane engines and as I said before, I can see their potential once people get on board with it. My issue is the sudden and...

REPORT: 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 Production To Move To The U.S.

If the lack of V8 wasn’t affecting the sales, there would not be these hints of a V8 returning.

REPORT: 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 Production To Move To The U.S.

1- I guess they were able to figure out the electrical architecture on the Ram, since Tim said the Ram LCI architecture won’t support the HEMI. 2- I would not be surprised if HEMI finds its way into the new Charger. 3- Also, I would not be surprised if the 392 version and other variants follow.

Range Extended EV (Series Hybrid / REEV) for STLA Large?

I do like the concept of Parallel-Series hybrid concept. The idea is to switch from one to another upon the need. You can use the hybrid for efficiency and you can use it for extra power.

Range Extended EV (Series Hybrid / REEV) for STLA Large?

The technology is there and has been offered on the smaller Jeeps with the 4Xe models. So I don’t think it’s difficult to have in any of the STLA Large products if the platform support the technology. It’s even better, IMO, than the pure EV crap.

STLA sightings rage on! RAM 1500 REV caught this time.

I’ll just wait for the facelift, to fix the front bumper, and hopefully more ICE powertrain options would be available by that time.

Dodge CEO Addresses Fans Concerns About New Charger

Hurricane X is a crate engine. When it is certified for the street, how much will it be defined. AMG is an example. A soulless high horsepower I4 wasn’t selling. So, they are coming back with I6 and V8 for their new coupe. You can have a higher horsepower on paper, but at some $$$, some people...

Dodge CEO Addresses Fans Concerns About New Charger

The hood and front clip are low on the EV version and I suspect the Hurricane powered will have a taller front clip and bulgy hood.
