Interior is styling is spot on. FCA had plans to add more technologies into it like fully digital instrument cluster and bigger infotainment screens. AFAIK some of these plans are scrapped by PSA.
Mercedes interior? Very bad in terms of styling. A lots of piano black plastic and one or two...
Why would someone run Alfa on Regular fuel unless he or she want to break the car.
For modern turbo engines even Europe 95 RON fuel is not enough. It's better to use 100 RON fuel. Good luck for finding it in US.
Not to mention that Tavares may extend his reign past usual age for pension.
Mike Manley was the main protagonist behind the merger with PSA Elkann and earlier Marchionne had different ideas.
People left companies due to various reasons. My guess is that Manley has felt that he has no chance of becoming the next Stellantis CEO or that it could not happen anywhere soon. So he left the company.
I would say that Cherokee as it is is not so important product on the grand picture.
US only product and so on.
KM could be much more important if properly executed.
BEV only Alfa Romeo is a blasphemy.
Manley already did a lot of damage to Alfa Romeo. Cancellation of some projects, switching them to Maserati and pushing Alfa Romeo R&D away from Modena.
Seeing some plans intended by Imparato it would only be worse. Of course some of them are pushed by...

Peugeot which is mentioned is in ON/OFF mode for some time now. Some people even said that it's postponed.
In the meanwhile there are some good news.
It seems that they've approved plans for E segment Alfa Romeo models. Not one but two. SUV and liftback.
At the same time...
Believe me... At the same time STLA wants, of course through politicians, to have more relaxed CO2 and emission regulations. More relaxed in comparison to current European plans.
Not only that but it seems that EMP 2 may never offer classic AWD. All they can do on it is eAWD.
When it comes to a platform strategy it's pretty much clear with exception of STLA Small.
Small Wide? Killed by French although they thought of using it as exclusive FWD based SUV platform because...
Why you think so? STLA Medium is EMP2 fork while STLA Large is Girogio fork. I can say that for a given size FWD based Peugeot platform will offer no more interior space in comparison to Giorgio.
On the other hand Giorgio/RWD could provide more capability and let's not forget that North American...
Hmh. They have tariffs but at the same time it's not a captive market anymore. Broad choice of cars and brands.
What is limiting factor for bigger and expensive cars in Brazil is something else. Hefty sales tax on every car sold in Brazil no matter where it's produced.
Even some cars like Fiat Argo are now at the top of sales chart. AFAIK 10k per month.
At the start of sales, few years ago, Argo was slow seller or was selling bellow expectations.
Right now ex-FCA can sell anything and that surprised me.
On the other hand ex-PSA is struggling in Brazil with...
What French car philosophy in general lacks is view towards premium car market and performance cars. I got shivers when I've heard that Alfa Romeo got into French hands. Fortunately Maserati is still in FCA's sphere.
Premium cars as term which is used in Europe and the whole world with...
