Holy ****, a 54 kWh battery (bigger than the PSA CMP EVs), uConnect infotainment and the interior shares a lot with the 500e.
This is amazing! I was expecting just a re-badged Mokka-e but this is actually a great improvement that uses a LOT more FCA parts than what I expected. And with a decent...
Oh, I know. But if this goes to the WTO it might eventually change...
In Europe, the PHEV will be very advantageous for renting and leasing schemes in some countries.
That requirement to be built in the US will eventually be dropped. It might take one or two years though, and this makes a difference.
I guess the PHEV will mostly be sold as a Tonale in Europe. When do sales start in the US?
Don't worry, we europoor buy cars adapted to our roads and distances. We do love V8s.
I understand your frustration, but you are not looking at the full picture for that decision and that's just what I was pointing out.
The poor Euros actually prefer the V8 Mustang. They just go for the ecofarts (:ROFLMAO:) because the V8 are too pricey.
You mention that the cost would be $600-700 million. That would be on top of other development costs. What would be the percentage of those models with the V8 engines? What...
It has a lot of problems with the transmission belt dipped in oil degrading and with excessive oil consumption. This was more severe on cars produced until 2017, they then changed transmission belt supplier and it improved a bit, but still didn't fix it. In Portugal, besides this the...
I'm surprised with the EV range. The BEV is clearly not based on the e-CMP since it offers more range than the current models based on it like the e-208.
Interesting.
Is there any confirmation on the engine for the ICE version? I thought they would push the 1.2 Puretech since they even announced...
It should've gotten a Dodge steering wheel and the rear pillar should've been redesigned. I don't think those two small details would've cost much, but then it wouldn't be so similar to the Tonale and it wouldn't cannibalize its sales in the US as I am sure that was the intent from Manley and...
This is an absolutely amazing vehicle. And an answer to all the naysayers that EVs can't be awesome.
You want something as outrageous as a Hellcat? Well here you have it.
Just a redesign of the C-pillar to make it more square would've differentiated these two models enough.
The air vents near the pilar are different as well. They could've used the steering wheel of the Compass instead of the Alfa Romeo one as well.
This is just short of being a great rebadge...
Now wonder with me why they're betting on this, instead of the more modern engines developed by FCA. They're wasting the investment they made on the GME and GSE engines and wasting more money on flawed and old engines.
