FIAT Launches Its New 500X Cross & Sport Dolcevita Soft Top Models In Italy:

Every time I see this vehicle, I can not help but think that a Chrysler (even 2010s styling) clip on the front, and a less Euro cockpit (renegadish) would return 10x the sale numbers of this Fiat and 2x the Renegade. The high command view and smaller size is attractive to many drivers, those...

STELLANTIS: 2022 New Cars from Europe

Christine Feuell Hired as CEO of the Chrysler Brand

I do not disagree - the point I was trying to make was that there will be no Chrysler product in the next year or two unless they are warming something in the hopper to release.... like Apple did with their switch from Power PC to Intel decades ago - they kept the Intel version of their...

Christine Feuell Hired as CEO of the Chrysler Brand

The chip shortage will likely be a short term issue. Before new EV vehicles can be brought to market (design, supplier setup, test runs, safety and environ testing) the shortage will be solves -or- brought onshore. Unless the NA arm of Chrysler has been warming a 200, dart, commander like...

Stellantis to acquire First Investors Financial Services to develop an In-House captive finance company for U.S.

Can someone clarify this quote Does CC only lend to those with lower credit scores or low asset to debt ratio ?

Oh Mary, GM recalls every Bolt made (including CUV), Stellantis recalls the Ampera-e(Bolt rebadge)

Are you suggesting that the early EV adopters that have had troubles will tarnish the market and perception of the propulsion type?

Oh Mary, GM recalls every Bolt made (including CUV), Stellantis recalls the Ampera-e(Bolt rebadge)

I'm not sure this has anything to do with Mary's leadership, but how it is handled could... I'm not sure this is something to blame GM or Opel for - however they do have some accountability for their 3rd party outsourcers to remedy the situation

Ram Unveils It’s Updated ProMaster Commercial Van Series For The 2022 Model Year!

Makes you wonder if contracts for volume of parts have not been met (e.g. why did we have a Dodge Monaco, an Eagle Talon. Wonder if the Chrysler Voyager was to address that (among other things)

White House Wants 50% Zero-Emissions Vehicles Sales By 2030!

I assume Tesla (and Nikola and others) were not invited because they are already electric, and have very little change change (but a lot of benefit in terms of infrastructure footprint and consumer sentiment plus reduction in supplier costs due to higher volumes... ??)

FIAT Adding More Color Back Into The 500e Lineup For 2022?

I notice they continue to brand it 500 by removing the FIAT logo on the front? A way of selling the vehicle through various nameplates especially in markets where FIAT has a small dealer print (NA) ? Would you see a Chrysler dealer selling the 500e in the US, or a Dodge as a 500e in Mexico ?

Stellantis Electric Vehicle Day on July 8, 1 hour before Wall Street open

From the whole picture view, is the entire system of harvesting potential energy (and the cost/impact of that), delivering that energy (transforming, hauling, transmission, storage), and consumption of that energy at the destination more sustainable (cost, environment, supply, efficiency)? I...

Stellantis Electric Vehicle Day on July 8, 1 hour before Wall Street open

I need to start thinking about outfitting my home with an EV port - have they standardized on the specifications for those yet - and look for Government bills to promote tax rebates if you have one installed (moreso than already exist).

Feel The Wind – Meet The Fiat 500X & Fiat 500C Yachting Edition:

I could see the 500X being a popular rental car in south Florida or California. I also could see them being used as uber or car service vehicles for people to take in the sights. I have to imagine Chrysler will take over where FIAT tried to be in N.A. (and I'm sure sales will at least 2x even...

Carlos appointee: Chrysler brand struggling “to a certain degree”

Would that suggest you could reskin a sister brand vehicle for the (PH/B)EV market? Could you take the Grand Wagoneer and make it a Town and Country PHEV. Could you take the Jeep Compass and make it BEV ? Could you take the 500X and reskin it as a Chrysler Cruiser and make it EV?

HELLCAT The World: Chrysler Pacifica SRT Hellcat Is BACK!

Chrysler could use a Halo car if it wants to re-splash into the market.... I think a Prowler/Cruiser like model would be better aligned.... (food for thought - would the Cruiser been the success it was if it was the Plymouth Touring Cruiser)

Will there be an Americanized from sedan from Peugeot?

Good point - you could probably get by with an even less number as the technology is tuned. I wonder if regenerative breaking w/ wind-turbine and solar charging are being investigated... The costs are high now - but battery power is not long term sustainable - it will have the nuclear problem...
