CAUGHT: 2026 Jeep® Cherokee (KM) Latitude 4×4 Hybrid

My superb Cherokee will be eight years old in August and my wife and I have been waiting for the next generation. FULL STOP ! If it does not offer a V-6 gas engine, we are out on this new generation. Looking elsewhere if hybrid is the only engine. Sorry Jeep.

Digital Artist Creates An Affordable Eagle Premier Wagon AWD

I was in with Eagle. Owned a Premier. Owned an Eagle Talon TSI-AWD which I drag raced for years including winning Bracket III Stock Eliminator at the Mopars at Maple Grove 1992 event and runner up Heavy Eliminator at the Mopar Atlantic Nationals at Englishtown. That turbo four AWD was a killer...

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis Promises 25 New Products In Just 18 Months

Challenger trash? I agree this opinion is baseless. Dodge for two years was ranked the best built brand. My 2019 Challenger R/T Plus has been flawless for six years and counting, build quality is outstanding for its rather modest price that delivers an amazing and exciting ride. Dodge might be...

Chrysler Confirms It’s Ditching All-Electric Plans for Multi-Energy Future

Totally agree, it shows an aggressive effort reflective of adventurous thought, but not a realistic thematic styling signature. The new 300 sedan will most likely be spun off the Charger family including their power trains plus a hybrid with, based on this new marketing philosophy, one based on...

Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis Promises 25 New Products In Just 18 Months

Really great news for Ram. The lifestyle Rampage from Brazil and the Dakota mid size would be game changes. Filling these glaring gaps in the Ram portfolio is beyond needed and the wait has been frustrating as well as a big money making lost opportunity to date. While the Rampage gains accolades...

Chrysler Confirms It’s Ditching All-Electric Plans for Multi-Energy Future

I have and remain a critic of Chrysler’s leadership which even from this video clearly shows she knows nothing besides reading off a prepared script about the Chrysler legacy. Instead of posing next to that beautiful Chrysler, she should sit in it, experience it and try, just try hard, to feel...

Chrysler Confirms It’s Ditching All-Electric Plans for Multi-Energy Future

Thank heavens!! Finally some sanity, a reality check, listening to the customers. Took some time, but Chrysler has made the best possible choice. Thank heavens!

Stellantis Shareholders Approve $40M Payout for Former CEO

One must remember who holds the majority of the stock. It’s not small stockholders like myself who voted by proxy against this insanity, but corporate interest who follow a code of entitlement and protection for their own. This guy gets millions when his incompetence cost the company billions...

Dodge Charger SRT Super Stock Is What Fans Really Want!

Without a doubt the only way for Dodge to return to its recent glory is to build something like this amazing, but very easily done, performance coupe. I avoided the term “muscle car” with purpose because the hefty Charger is not a muscle car but a large and with the right accessories...

Chrysler Finally Begins Its 100th Anniversary Celebration at NYIAS

Not to belabor our conversation, but that was my exact impression, someone at Chrysler styling is hung up on that 200/ Pacifica van front end real bad and so “here we go again” on a look that sunk the overall really poorly done 200 and had to be changed on the Pacifica. Oh yes by the way on the...

Chrysler Finally Begins Its 100th Anniversary Celebration at NYIAS

I think we are saying the same thing, the Airflow IS too cookie cutter and although the basic elements of SUVs or a flying spur as I view the Airflow are commonly shared, things like grills, front fenders, body accents and tail lights make a huge difference that demand classic brand cues to set...

Chrysler Finally Begins Its 100th Anniversary Celebration at NYIAS

About time! Chrysler fans have been trying to help the clueless leadership at Chrysler to study, appreciate and understand the Chrysler brand heritage and culture. Technical innovation, bold styling consistent with its clearly identifiable brand cues, cutting edge engineering in an affordable...

Maserati CEO Reaffirms Stellantis Support Amid Tariff Turbulence

As I stated, Maserati and less so Alfa Romeo should not and can not currently be evaluated against the long standing, far better financed and longer established luxury import brands. That does not mean they should not challenge the status quo and perhaps take a page from the Genesis brand and...

Ram CEO Breaks Down The 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger

At first blush I had two reactions, first, what blasphemy of the Ramcharger legacy and two, is this a joke? Now I’m not laughing as this Ram just might be a great product. As Tim said, a big maybe. Now I’m blushing a bit with embarrassment, Tim just made his point to silly old me.

Stellantis Seeks McKinsey’s Help for Alfa Romeo and Maserati

Maserati, just love their cars except the Grecale, which I tested and saw little difference for the extra money from my son’s Alfa Rome Stelvio. These two brands do not have the brand range, the dealership network or the visibility to go neck to neck with the likes of Mercedes, BMW and Audi...

Stellantis Seeks McKinsey’s Help for Alfa Romeo and Maserati

I’ll give the two brands some free advice. Speed up the refresh, replace time on aging vehicles. Don’t announce replacements until they are fully ready for release for sale. Build on the appeal of Italian luxury such as generated by Gucci, Prada, Ferrari and such. Italian sells. Improve build...

SPOTTED: 2027 Jeep® Wagoneer 4xe REEV Engineering Mule

Still love the Wagoneer as some form of luxury Jeep sub brand. Keep supporting the Wagoneer Jeepsters, it has so much going for it. Here on Jeep loving Long Island they are doing well. It does have a following. Marketing needs more exposure. I’m a fan of this idea, still.

Windsor Assembly Shutdown Impacts Thousands as Stellantis Reassesses Plans

Good excuse to pause the Daytona production and get the Six Packs moving. Time to stop the madness, retool to build ICE cars for every brand including Chrysler and start fresh. I’m sympathetic to workers, but their ambitions must match reality. It could come down to pay cuts or the unemployment...

Dodge Omni O24: Retro Comeback We Didn’t Know We Needed

Bought the original O24 (gray/black) used from my local dealer for commuting to work. Loved the looks, but it was a piece of junk. Doors could not open, slow, struggled to even get up steep hills with four passengers. Traded it for a new Dodge Daytona Turbo Z, which I loved. A new similarly...

SPOTTED: 2026 Ram 1500 Ramcharger Laramie

Truck guys, especially commercial customers, should take the lead on this truck. I’m not a truck guy so this does nothing for me except hoping it does well and consumers are pleased with the purchase. To me it is a bit unusual in its set up and the appeal to the market seems limited.
