The daytona was a commemorative model of a vehicle which had "the" wing.
I maintain that the daytona 50th was a nothingburger, indicated in my response back on March 3rd.
Which would be correct if people actually have driven one, to know they are the best handling. Again, my comments were in regards to average american, and marketing. Avg person doesnt follow auto publications or knows that Stelvo handles so well. They probably don't know that vehicle even...
I have no bias against fiat or alpha - false assumption on your part. Many, many people seem to though unfortunately so it appears you at least partially agreed with the premise of my comment. The other reason marketing doesn't want them linked in my opinion would be the different markets the...
Average Joe and majority of marketing departments for any brand within Stellantis (if its anything like the marketing department where i work) don't know the difference b/w platform, architecture, or build points and dont care. My personal opinion is Jeep would rather not have this linked with...
It is possible, from a marketing and branding standpoint, Jeep doesn't want average Joe American public to think of this as a modified street oriented Alfa Romeo or European platform.
I was thinking about this as well. However Jeep wisely did not go for the largest 3row CUV in terms of dimensions. If you compare vs the new explorer for example the GCL is slightly under in a few areas. I think this was wise, and will keep some differentiation from the upcoming, larger bof...
Probably. The upcoming wagoneer long wheel base version may have the width and length sufficient for 4x8 interior. But these vehicles are not intended for construction runabouts or to simulate an enclosed trailer. Get a cheap trailer (or rent one) and keep that crap out of the interior. If you...
I can't really think of any complaints (other then likely the price) - especially when comparing against current durango.
Job well done.
The complete wrap around chrome trim piece I'll have to wait to see in person.
Nothing was said about rear seat entertainment systems. Is there or will...
The frustrating thing - this appears only to be a GCWR increase to 45k for 2wd reg cab 8' dually. Why not increase GCWR for higher volume 4x4 crew cabs from 43k to 45k as well?

Well deserved.
Also note the Ford HD was in this year's comparison including the Tremor. MT noted that they didn't think the Ford HD would have beat the 2020 Ram HD last year for TOTY either.
Over on TruckTrend, 2020 Ford HD won last year only because Ram HD couldn't send them the right truck...
I think the only thing they could have done in addition on this wrangle rubicon 392 would be using gladiator mohave shock set up with the jounce bump stops. However with a vehicle this short of a wheelbase and highish center of gravity, you don't exactly want to promote high speed desert...
Incorrect on both of your examples. GM's "premium" V8 (the 6.2) has historically only been offered in their highest trims. Only recently has it been added to some mid-term trims (RST, LT and custom trail boss). It is not available in baseline trim as you indicate (WT). GM trucks also has no halo...
Just watched the reveal vid. Pretty awesome but I'll be more excited when they 392 the Gladiator and Ram 1500. Why the 6.4 isn't available in the 1500 yet is beyond me and quite frustrating.
75% (350 lb ft) of torque just off idle is great.
Does the new 3rd brake light in the 1500s allow for a cargo view camera like in the HD trucks on the center stack?
Is it possible they would allow the HUD option eventually without having to go 12" screen?
We had a few foreign exchange students from Europe stay with us when i was growing up. It was always funny when they asked to go see different national parks or monuments...they were very surprised when we answered "Well we'd have to drive 14 hours to get there..."
None understood the vastness...
It makes sense, because renewable type generating capacities are basically the primary type being allowed to be created/installed currently, probably still through subsidies? Don't know, not my area of expertise.
Note it's 57% of NEW capacity set up in the first 6 months of the year. Renewable...
I do know the function of a wing...:)
My point was how much of a nothingburger the daytona 50th anniversary car was to me. 10 hp bump, a sticker to mimic a wing, and rims basically outside of interior bits. These GTA and GTAm cars on the other hand seemed to get a little more unique treatments...
