Is there an exterior refresh or MCE for 2022, 2023 or 2024 planned? Its nice as is just curious what the designers may do to tweak the exterior. Or if they may add the front passenger screen like Jeep...
Q3 / YTD
GM -33 / flat
Ford -24.7 / -7
So not terrible by big 3 comparison, if my quick search is accurate. I think Toyota is doing the best out there Q3+1.4 / YTD+27.9. GM may lose its 90year streak of selling the most in US.
Wrangler, gladiator, grand cherokee, all of ram brand, 300, all of...
Interior is certainly nice - though i think Ram does a better job overall with a couple things and how they integrate wood for example.
ZR2 - i really like the non-baja/wide body with good shocks and lockers. Detachable bumper ends I could take or leave, though it is one of the more common...
HUD is part of the technology group, which I don't believe is impacted by this announcement. The online configurator does not appear to be updated yet to reflect the changes listed in the article.
To answer my own concerns above
Advanced safety group for laramie appears to have already been reduced to only be auto headlights right now? But on Limited it still included all the items - which are now being dropped
Protection group items would be included in off road group. I guess now you...
There are some terrible "simplifications" wrapped up in this announcement.
No rambox on tradesman, loss of two tone, loss of protection group, loss of advanced safety (probably tied to chip shortage).
I'm assuming you still get protection group stuff if you select laramie + off road though...
Ford had an astonishingly terrible June.

The Gladiator beat the Colorado Q2 and YTD and is chomping at the heals of Ranger that is just wild.
My opinion would be that majority of buyers will not actually care about who has the best on paper specs. Wrangler is better offroader as it will have better articulation / less 3wheel tottering and has better visibility.
But it is the other characteristics of the vehicles that will make the...
You're slightly misinterpreting the data:
Majority of sales are NOT below 34k. For the LD segment in 2018, majority of sales are crew cabs in the 39-45k$ region. Which makes sense, that's SLT/Bighorn or base Laramie likely. As a company, you want to be most successful in the largest market...
That's part of the reason it is not the best all around pickup. Too skewed to performance. Not that its bad to be king for a while...
A Rebel with a 6.4 would be the best all-around pickup. Good off-road, good performance, good capability, good interior, with economy probably similar to the 5.7.
I'd be shopping for one if I hadn't became addicted to ramboxes and heated/ventilated seats and heated steering wheel. It would be hard to go back after 4th gen Laramie ownership
These are hard to find (as are any gas powered megacabs from this time). The 4x4 was basically a 2500 with 1500 badges. Guy at work had a black 1500 megacab i tried to buy but he wasn't ready to sell. Unfortunately 3rd gens are so rusted out in my area they are tough to justify buying now...
It's got to be SRT version based on the output, correct?
With the lack of an "entry" or base version (example - no cloth seats even in "base" wagoneer series I) I'm thinking that was intentional with upcoming "durango" changing over. This Wagoneer seems at least 10K over a relatively similar...
Pretty much everyone's ATP is up as rental/fleet sales are down. Jan fleet sales are down 26%
https://www.coxautoinc.com/market-insights/jan-2021-fleet-sales/
GM ATP up 5% to $44,690, incentives down 5% to $5,115
Ford ATP up 4% to $46,575, incentives down 11% to $4,358
Toyota up 5% to $33,859...
Well the raptor has launched - how disappointing.
Only interesting thing is switch to coils (which we already knew). Impressive travel. 37" tire option (but with less travel).
No engine specs yet, no performance specs. Frame tweaks. Shock tweaks. New interior. Propower option. Exhaust...
