And all the sudden, the SWB version looks small.
This will be about the same overall length as a 5th gen crew cab short bed truck, which is a few inches longer than the suburban is today.
I have mine flipped down always even when towing unless i'm pulling a taller, enclosed trailer. When up, your blindspot for approaching cars is larger. Aesthetically they look good to me either way. Simple design yet very functional.
I hope these are not full time up and telescoping, like everyone else. Significantly more blindspot when full time up like fords dual arm and GM's origami design.
Flip up is vastly superior IMO. When down they are low profile, but still wide, and more importantly you can see over them as cars...
Very interesting. They have their work cut out for them, improving on the best tow mirror in the class.
The rebel trim makes sense. Leave PW for gas only with winch, articulating offoad best in class. Add rebel for cummins optional Tremor/AT4 direct competitor that has the higher payload and...
When the classic is gone Ram will finally fill out the DT portfolio, which i think is good. If they want to keep high sales # they will also need to keep the tradesman prices low (or not raise them as much after 2022) and maybe bring back an "express" DT trim. I'm also hopeful they will add a...
I didn't know AT Trail existed. I like them - look like a better option than AT3w for the WK2 (which i tried last time in 275/55r20). My general grabbers throw more rocks on gravel than i anticipated or the AT3ws did, but are much more quite.
Personally i think its fine if they what chrysler to be an all EV brand. They needed a headline/brand indicating in north america that stallantis is "with the times" and this gives them that.
I'm guessing the airflow will be 90% like the dodge hornet, and a new chrysler EV sedan (300) will be...
Ah OK. That is quite a different understanding of how I read "chrysler brand to go all BEV"....I was thinking thats BEVs only - no ICE engine of any kind or plug-in hybrids.
Both what? I'm not following.
To reiterate - chrysler has announced BEV only by 2028. Currently the pacifica is the only minivan in the companies lineup.
I didn't know if any of the presentations covered where they plan to still offer the ICE and PHEV versions of minivans after 2028. Lots of...
Wife's 2015 Durango RT AWD (profile image) with recently new tires (32" general grabbers this time). Bought used with 21k miles now has a little over 70k. Had every option for the time except for rear seat DVD. Pretty much all miles have been with a larger tire on stock suspension.
My 2015 Ram...
Nothing about this concept design would keep it from being implemented on the barn door gate. All those groves and holes would be a nightmare to clean out.
They should design all the clamps to fit in a bag that is stored in the ramboxes or under the back seat.
I saw this shown elsewhere and sort of glanced over it. Have to say after giving it a closer look this is pretty sweet.
Bedrack on a rambox bed is a big deal
Vacuum under back seat would be nice. I'd like trucks to bring over more SUV/minivan features to the back row (like climate zone for the...
This ball can be kicked multiple directions. I will say as a company, they are always going to invest wherever they think the best ROI will be. Recent history that has been Ram and Jeep but i'm sure dodges performance success has spoken for itself - at least in terms of enthusiasm if not also...
